We often ask ourselves and our colleagues; what are you actually doing it for? This question can relate to work, but you can even extend it to ask; what makes you come out of bed in the morning? Our motivation is; The Valley. For our beautiful, healthy products and for all our colleagues. We do it for growth but also for sustainability. Of course we like to make some money, but creating a smile on someones face is just as important. Other motives? Our hobbies. Our sheep. Our tinkering with old cars, our children and family. And you....? What motivates you?
A little bit of history
In the early stages of 2023, we proudly unveiled The Valley. The Greenvalley, Greenway, Van den Berg, and Van der Voort greenhouses had each carved out their own success, but together, they formed an even more formidable alliance. Captured within one of these photographs is the director and owner, Jack Groenewegen, standing alongside Marcel van den Berg.
This snapshot dates back to the early '90s, a time when their collaboration first took root within Prominent. By 2019, they had already embarked on a joint venture known as Greenvalley. In 2020, the Van der Voort cousins, Joost and Thom, assumed control of their family business. Even prior to the merger, these visionaries frequently gathered around the table, sharing their insights and dreams with Marcel and Jack.
With a wealth of knowledge and history at their disposal, coupled with unwavering drive and ambition, the merger unfolded with boundless energy and radiant smiles. Here's to the next 30 years of growth, innovation, and shared success!
