What will you be doing?
You grow the tastiest and most beautiful vine tomatoes. As a cultivation manager, you train upcoming cultivation specialists. You enjoy sharing both technical knowledge and leadership skills with your team. With a team of cultivation specialists, you are responsible for the best cultivation across multiple locations. Your expertise ensures optimal growing conditions, the best climate for growth combined with energy management, proper irrigation, and nutrition. In addition, you have daily discussions with the Location Manager and Team Leaders on labor policies, hygiene policies, and order in your greenhouse. Together with the Location Manager, you are accountable for the overall results.
Being a cultivation manager is an energetic and varied job. To achieve the best results, the location is equipped with modern techniques, and it is your responsibility to create and maintain the best possible biological balance in the greenhouse. You align all cultivation processes as closely as possible with the plant's needs. You have weekly discussions with the cultivation advisor on the policies to be implemented. You also have weekly meetings with the cultivation managers of the other Valleys. We have an excursion together once a week, often digitally, to learn from each other and share our knowledge. Together, you achieve more, work more efficiently, and it's even more enjoyable. This way, you develop not only as a professional but also as a person..
