Junior Team Leader

Westland
Fulltime

This is you

  • You have a hands-on work (and thinking) level.
  • You are known for your natural leadership skills.
  • You take responsibility for the things you do (and don't do).
  • You ensure that you have a great team that works well together and individually.
  • You know what tomatoes and cucumbers are.
  • You care about a strong team where collegiality is key.
  • You are ambitious and you show it. Your enthusiasm is contagious!

This is what we have to offer

  • A job for a minimum of 38 hours per week.
  • Explore the world thanks to plenty of holiday days.
  • A decent salary that allows you to go on adventures.
  • Reimbursement for all trips related to the Valley.
  • A pension plan for the future.
  • Room for development, for both us and yourself.

What will you be doing?

We will teach you the ins and outs of the trade. If you have become a greenhouse expert and can perform all tasks effortlessly, then you are the ideal candidate for the role of Junior Team Leader to oversee the team of (flexible) employees and students. Leading your team with enthusiasm and a smile, you are adept at maintaining a positive atmosphere at the location.
Working alongside the Team Leader and Site Manager, you will be responsible for guiding employees. Your role involves overseeing the quality, execution, and safety of the production process. Motivating your team members and cultivating a strong team spirit are key aspects of your role. As a Junior Team Leader, you act as the Team Leader's eyes and ears in the greenhouse, providing valuable insights and assistance in ensuring a well-planned schedule and accurate record-keeping. Your ultimate goal is to foster a motivated team that delivers high-quality and efficient work. While this may sound challenging (and it is), for you, it's the perfect thrill. If this resonates with you, don't hesitate to apply!
The position of Junior Team Leader offers a dynamic and independent role with ample opportunities for growth. We provide comprehensive support and encourage you to pursue any necessary training.
